2. What we process and why

Visits. When you visit we record a pseudonymous visit identifier (a cookie called g1_vid), your approximate country and city (derived from your network address at the edge — the address itself is not stored), your browser type, the name of your network operator, the pages and offers you click and which campaign or link brought you here. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring the site, paying our partners correctly and detecting automated traffic (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This record is pseudonymous and first-party, so it is made without a cookie banner.

Session recording — only with your consent. After you press "Accept" we record how the page is used (movement, scrolling, clicks) with our own software, to find faults and confusing places. Text you type and anything sensitive is masked; nothing is sent before you accept. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with "Change" in the footer.

The Club (your account). If you request a sign-in link we store the e-mail address you give us, send the link to it, and connect a pseudonymous user identifier to your visits and to the sign-ups our partners report, so that your Club level and history can be shown to you. Your level is calculated from your activity with our e-mails, our sites and our partners (we show you partner names and how active you are, never amounts; partners do report deposit events to us so that our commission can be settled). Legal basis: performance of the Club service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

E-mails with news and offers. When you join the Club with your e-mail address we may send you GambleProof news and offers. You can stop them at any time with the link in every e-mail or by writing to privacy@gambleproof.com. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in telling Club members about this site's offers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 13(2) of the ePrivacy Directive), with your right to object at any time. We keep a record of when you joined and of the notice you saw, as proof. Messages about your account itself (a sign-in link, a security notice) are not marketing and are sent as part of the service.

Push notifications. Only if you allow notifications in your browser. We then store the push endpoint your browser issues and your country, so that notifications about new offers reach you. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Revoke it in your browser's site settings; we delete the endpoint as soon as it stops working.

Partner attribution. When you click an offer we pass a click identifier (and the campaign tags of your visit) to the partner, and the partner reports back that a sign-up or deposit happened under that identifier so that we can be paid. From the moment you land on the partner's website their privacy policy applies.

3. Recipients

The partner whose offer you click (as described above) and the service providers that host and operate the site for us under contract. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Visit data is kept for up to 24 months, session recordings for 30 days, account data until you close your account, the record of the e-mail notice you saw for as long as we need to prove it, and push endpoints until they stop working or you revoke the permission.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), the right to withdraw a consent at any time, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to privacy@gambleproof.com.
